Instagram: @AzianaTeh
Every year, on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, we have a tradition menu of nasi lemak + steamboat =D Chinese New Year celebration is not just about red packets; it is about togetherness as a family, a reunion that strengthened the bond. This year I made family tree and pasted on the wall. Finally, some of us get to know each others real name. XD hehe
I'm the 2nd generation of Teh's from China. =]

EE Sem V : Random Update =]

Hello~~

Its pretty frustrating that my blog is still about Bahrain while my life is full of unwritten story that waited to be posted in this blog!
Now is already week 13, the final two weeks before the study week and the finals =O

My timetable is pretty full and I am so busy with all the rush of assignment and presentation.
Its kinda fun in a way though.

I've been updating myself a lot through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram than this blog!
oh my poor blog, being abandoned. I'm so sorry! XD

This is just some random update somehow release some stress.

I feel this blog is pretty messy as I wanted to update lots of stuff and ended up = no update at all!

There's a lot of things going on this semester:

  1. First time compose + sing my own song "Time Trap" with the best band in UPM and talented friends from Music Faculty for Yinzi Concert 2013
  2. Singing invitation from USM Japan Festival
  3. First time performing solo guitar on stage
  4. Gathering with my foster family and sisters~!
  5. First time singing at Bukit Expo- Pretty weird experience though.. hahaha
  6. First time performing my own song "Time Trap" at K11!
Anyway, I really work super hard for this semester.. sometimes, its just, I don't know, thing goes wrong with the way I answer my test paper  for Machine and ended up with 20+ marks deficit. =(
I really need to find out about it ASAP!

So far so good ^^
Be positive + eat healthy + rest well + pray hard + study smart =]
I'll never give up till the end. Never will.

Semester 5 gonna end soon. Time run so fast...
アジアナ!頑張って下さい!最後まであきらめないよ!

Bahrain 2013: Ramadan Kareem

During Ramadan, all restaurant closed in order to respect this holy Month of Ramadan.
This is the local brand fast food: Jasmi's
I follow my cousin and uncle to this tailor shop that tailor high quality suits, etc.
I did follow my cousin for taraweeh prayer at the nearby mosque. It was a great experience though. They all mostly in black, but we Malaysian like to pray with white. Since I don't look local - Chinese or east Asian looking are pretty rare - I feel that maybe they see me a little bit 'rare' haha. There's a lot of Indian, Nepalese, Indonesian and Filipino working in Bahrain.
But we everyday pray taraweeh at home.
Malaysian here are mostly professional worker, like engineer, architect, etc..

During Ramadan, I follow my aunt, cousin, uncle to go shopping.
Basically we just stay in the house most of the time due to hot weather outside (its summer here).

Some vegetables that are normal vegetable in Malaysia like okra is frozen.
Since Bahrain is a desert-like topography, it doesn't allow any vast agriculture - in other word, it is not suitable.
TOP: Bottled chocolate water... I found it rather peculiar! lol
This is the popular brand here for Milk.
More photos here on our break-fast food here in Bahrain!

Bahrain 2013: Departure

Basically what I gonna write about in this blogpost is my experience on a different airplane than I usually take: MAS and AirAsia.

For departure to Bahrain, I took SriLankan Airlines. We had transit at Colombo, Sri Lanka.
SriLankan airline is the cheapest to go Bahrain. Well, it is economical.

My Electromagnetic lecturer is a Sri Lankan.
I really like the way he teach. He really try his best to make us understand this subject.
Many people failed this subject. Surprisingly I got A! Wow... Didn't expect that at all.

By the way, it seems like lots , lots of my friend are going vacation/internship overseas, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, New Zealand, USA, Australia, Europe... Some went oversea few times!
So rich ahh?? The peer pressure has been up to another limit!

Well, I guess... none went to this part of the globe: The ARABIAN GULF country.
Except those who study at Oman or Egypt...
Well, now pretty much not suitable to visit the middle east anyway...

Well, lets continue about my journey from Malaysia to Bahrain!
By the way, I depart to Bahrain when it is still during fasting month of Ramadan. But due to the journey through plane, we are not fasting on that day.

The journey:
KLIA, Malaysia >> Colombo, SriLanka ~~ 3 hour 35 minute
Colombo, SriLanka >> Manama, Bahrain ~~ 5 hour 20 minute

It a tradition every year since I get active with blogging that I will update a post on my birthday.

But this time I need to continue on the tradition each year with some updates!

I'll update full stories of my Bahrain experience soon, after returning to Malaysia, and get all my exams done.

Guess where is the next location of my birthday celebration?

Here's the clue:

I'm so blessed and I'm so grateful with whatever that I got.
Alhamdulillah. :)
Insya allah, I'll do my best to achieve a greater height and study as high as where I celebrated my birthday, or even higher!

Dream Summit.Sky High. Work Harder. Be Smart.
Yeah, this mark the beginning of a very challenging journey ahead!

1434H Ramadan - Self Control

Hello everybody, its been a while since I've been updated anything to my diary blog here.
(It's always 'I will update soon' means I'll update in a month time, or completely forgotten... -_-)
The fact that I rarely update my blog even though I have a lot of fascinating stuff happen in my life is because blogging is something that I need to put lots of effort! Haha.
Besides that, since there's a lot of people around me reading this blog, so I need to be cautious with whatever I'm writing..
From photo to the writing, it took me few hours, even half a day to post a blogpost.
Since its been semester holiday right now, I'll try to update as much as I can. I "try".lol

The main problem that I have right now is "self-control" and I believe that this holy month of Ramadan will able to let me get control of myself, my emotion, physical and spiritual.
I'm ready to fully use this year Ramadan to be a better person, build up my self confidence back and relax.
I'm ready to cleanse my soul, my mind, my body and myself.

So, I have a lot of things I want to concentrate about is about "myself".
All these while, I kept thinking of how my image is represented and judge by people.
Hence, I keep on punishing myself with negativity.
That's why I have no motivation to even update my blog (that's mostly about myself and my life).
I lose control. I lose myself.
This.cannot.go.on.

I need to change this, I need to be in control.
So, Ramadan is the best month to regain my control.
Its all about self-control.

Wish me all the best~!

By the way, I'm working on my first ever song, which I found it kind of strange song.lol
I'm into music more on interest and passion. Basically, musical noob. XP
I need to work on the lyrics and the melody, so I can let my friend to arrange the song.
Then I can submit my demo for next semester performance!

My Japanese Pen pal Friend: Miyu @ Laila

A Special Shout out to my amazing Japanese Friend : Miyu!
Miyu and me at Putrajaya.

Well, it was kind of late, but I want to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! お誕生日おめでとう~
11.4.2013

***********
Well, we first know each other via MySpace, when that particular time I was searching for a Japanese friends.
I ask a lot of Japanese people I found, and Miyu is one of the friendliest one. :)
We've been keeping in touch through snail mail and social network till now.
I still keep the letters with me =) #Memories

I'm so glad and surprise at the same time when I found out that she's just converted into Muslim after touring around the Asia + Europe + Africa continent. =')

She has been travelling in the name of journalism and rather interesting as well.
So I arrange an appointment with Malaysiakini, as I believe one of the best place to learn something new regarding journalism. Its alternative media to the conventional one. They has been through hardship of many kind of attack, but still standing. It is really interesting to meet them!
Check out her blog! But it is in Japanese: http://halfroundtheworld12.blogspot.com/
(For more picture, click read more link below)

Thank you for willing to drop by at Malaysia. Even though it was a few days and we couldn't really going out since you get the stomachache. I hope you enjoy it being in Malaysia. Come here again!

**************************
I forgot to leave my phone number to her for me to contact me, since I wear bright colour dress, it is not hard to find me. I'm so glad that she arrive safely to Malaysia.
Meeting journalist of Malaysiakini.

Press Freedom Wall

Al-fatihah written for her so she can memorize it. I found it really interesting. :)

Laila =)
I'm having a lot of fun talking to her. I learn a lot of things as well.
Really enjoy some sharing moment that we have even though we couldn't go out =]

Check in AirAsia to Japan
Its is rather peculiar written in Malay, but yeah!
"We're fated to meet by God and I am happy to meet you"

Exact!
Photo before going off to the departure gate.
Even though having stomachache, you can still smile beautifully :)
I hope to meet you soon in the future!! Come to Malaysia again =)

I'm so glad that I met you.

Tiffany Alvord Live in KL - 2013 Asia Tour

30 March 2013

Tiffany Alvord live in KL moments =')
I'm just like a small kid with a big dream.Inspired by somebody who work their ladder up and stand with their own talent.
"If you have a goal... go out and get it. Don't hold back and think 'what if'. Wouldn't you rather look back and said 'I did it'. DREAM BIG"- Tiffany Alvord
Hey its holiday!
Its catch-up time~ I need to update those updates that need to be updated.

It was a pretty amazing journey throughout from beginning to the end :)

By the way, here's the video on Tiffany Alvord live  in KL.
I found myself appearing in the video 4 times. erm..haha

By the way, if you don't know who is Tiffany Alvord, she is one of the famous YouTubers that do cover for famous songs and they are really talented.
*I am Jason Chen's fan too :)
When I first heard that Tiffany are gonna come to Malaysia, I am super excited and bought the ticket 3 months before the concert because it is the first time Tiffany come to Malaysia.
The ticket worth more than its value.
Amazing experience.
I found the YouTubers are very inspiring, they work hard to be known and they are very consistent in terms of interaction with their fans. They take YouTube seriously.
They have humble beginning: with camera pointed to their face and sing.
Then, they get professional -- in terms of video and voice recording.
No doubt that they poses a package: voice, face, funny, friendly, etc. that makes them having 100k and 1Million subscriber and increasing.
Tiffany Alvord + Me
She's like a fairy tale princess with beautiful voice :)

Want to read about my journey on that day? Read below =]

So this is me, getting ready for the concert :)
Well, I wake up pretty early ( about 5am) cannot sleep anymore due to excitement. haha
Then I get ready for the concert and reach the place rather early.
I don't really know the location of the Bentley Auditorium, so, I subscribe data plan for my iPad and my iPad lead me. So far it leads me to the right direction and I reach the place safely. :)
My first ever IKEA meatball! Yum yummy. Love it
I always heard about this famous IKEA meatball, so I want to give it a try.
I'm kinda lost in the IKANO and finally found the restaurant -- using a longer distance way.. haha
Since I was alone, and it was weekend, the IKEA is full of people and I couldn't find a place to sit.
Suddenly I found familiar face of a senior from UPM engineering faculty, I know them via cultural event that I took part in 1st year: Malam Tunas Putra UPM 2011 : Seta Walinongsari [K10&K11]

Then, I go to Bentley Showroom to see the music instrument and try out. hehe
Awesome~
Taken from my instagram:
Wake up early. Misplace my car key. Reach ikano. Eat ikea meatball for the 1st time. Go Bentley music 3rd floor tryout the piano. Go upstairs. I saw Tiffany Alvord! They seems to have rehearsal. McCafe caramel latte and wait for the ticket redemption counter open. =] #TiffanyAlvordLiveInKL McDonald Kidzania Mutiara Damansara

I met my Form 6 friend at the McDonalds there! What a small world. :3
I get so nervous when I saw Tiffany, I go hide at the toilet to calm myself.haha
The toilet near Bentley Auditorium is nice.haha. Nice place to take photos?

Bought some cardboard, knife and tape for last minute sign improvement. lol and I do this at the backseat of my car.
The results is the picture above! #IamSoHappy

I found some lovely tiffanatic fans that really nice and awesome!
They are lots younger than me, still secondary school.
Hey, I look younger like a secondary school student too! =D hehe

From Instagram:
Found awesome new friends here!!@tiffanyalvord #tiffanyalvordliveinkl#tiffanatic @itsashleyyyxo @giemei@beatricenialler
Take photo with Malaysian Youtuber: DMingThing - Skywards
Write my name wrongly... This guy owe me a resign!
This is the first time attending a concert, and it is sooo worth it!
Meeting new nice people, nice experience!
From Instagram.

Sorry Tiffany! I eat "you" already, can't help it.
I refer it to the chocolate. lol
So the opening act is by Malaysian Youtubers and band:
Skywards. I love their Mash-ups. Thumbs up!
Talented Dayan Trisha. She has a unique voice!
The Revellers. Awesome band with awesome vocal lead!
Hey Sheikh, you are so lucky!
Finally! Performance by Tiffany. Since Malaysia is the last stop of the tour, she's been singing so much till her voice is a little tired. Can't seems to sing the way she did in YouTube.
But anyway, she rock it that night! Awesome.
Such a hardworking person.

Tiffany is so talented. :)
She signed my sign and I get a hug from her =')
I've been talking to Malaysia Youtubers that performed that night and they encourage me to keep posting and do covers. Such a support, amazing. Thank you!
Even Tiffany said good luck to me. :)
The new friends that I met on that day, is so nice and supportive!
*hugs*

Even though, they don't know me, or don't remember me, those word of encouragement and support means a lot to me.
So there goes my amazing, memorable journey :)
What is a journey without souvenirs?
Get her tour shirt and album with some merchandise as well.
It seems like the dad and brothers work hard selling her merchandise.
Like a family business.
I've been saving money for this and the experience is beyond any price!
Something that I really treasure. =)
